NGD..jackson Dinky reverse

Jackson professional dinky reverse. This thing is a time warp. 2 tiny nicks and needs a little cleanup but almost spotless. And he had the hang tag(charvel/Jackson users manual) and all the wrenches.

Edited to remove info I had wrong.

Can't be an 87. They didn't exist then. Try about 1995-96.

Nice guitar though. I just sold mine.
 
Yeah, without looking back at the catalogues, that's something like 1993 at the earliest. I just sold one and they're great guitars..
 
Yes it is the stone finish. Chris O thank you!! I'm thinking I got a good deal on this but not sure. Was one of those "I have to have it" pieces. Curious if you don't mind saying what they sell for. Pm is fine and if you'd rather not say I totally understand thanks!!
 
I love the piece Neilli. Same question to you. Curious wharf these are selling for. And understand if you don't want to say. Not something I'm gonna sell just curious

Thanks Neilli!!!! I think I did ok then. Picked this one up for $300. I'm not looking to flip it so I'm happy. Thanks again for the info.
 
Had that one when they came out. Loved it at the time, but sold it when I moved to strats.

I sold mine locally for $350 - same as I bought it for. :) I've seen them fetch up to about $500 depending on the condition. I'd put them up against almost any superstrat out there from a quality standpoint. Particularly if you look at any mass-produced US current stock.

Great guitar, but the neck was soooo thin...too thin. I prefer something a bit more round, and my Charvel Pro Mods fit the bill perfectly. The finish on that Jackson is so cool though... :thumbsup:
 
Awesome....There are "nicer" guitars out there but IMO it's hard to beat an old Jackson.
 
Chris, I love the thin neck, but I'm an ibanez guy so I've always had thinner necks. I agree about the finish, that was the draw to this piece for me. Back in 93 I bought a used ibanez out of a local shop(somers point nj). Finished was similar. Kind of a granite/stone finish. I believe it said "American custom" or something like that on the headstock. Me being an idiot not realizing Ibanez didn't do custom stuff at that point(at least in us I believe) I ended up trading it for something else which I don't even remember what. I lose sleep all the time over that piece. Was the nicest guitar I've ever owned(right with my Jon Hill custom). Sorry for the novel lol but I miss that damn Ibby. I've never seen anything even close to it since. It's out there somewhere though :)
 
I've always wanted one of those Dinky Reverses in the Granite finish. Congrats
