I played one of these back in April of last year and have kept them on my feed since then. I never even noticed the infinity radius of the neck when I first picked it up and only read about that spec later. I can find flaws in just about every guitar I own, whether it be about tone, something quirky, dings, middle pickup position (get the fuck outta my way), but the Kaizen hasn't pissed me off at all. I noticed that when I first played one back in April and after having this thing for about 2 weeks, I still feel very much the same.
It seems like a lot of thought and work was put into pairing these two pickups. There's no volume drop when switching to the mini-humbucker in the neck. Both pickups sound good clean, overdriven, and distorted.
Why get a multiscale on a 6 string? That's a valid question. I barely even notice it though. And if you're like me and can't fucking decide between what feels like home...24.75 or 25.5, this is the best of both worlds. I think it's got 10-46s on it now, which is light for me, but it plays so nicely that I don't even want to restring it yet.
It's a dive-only bridge. I'm not sure if it's proprietary to EBMM or not, but it's been stellar in the limited use I've tossed at it, but I likely won't keep the wonky wand on.
Got this mother fucker in white and put on my silly, extremely short, polka dot strap.
TLDR: Kaizen's awesome.
