Burny LC-70RR. It needs a little work. I have some aged gold covered pickups I can put in to restore the aesthetics as well as a block selector ring. The electronics are a rat’s nest, but otherwise this thing is a beast. The pickups are in there now are a super distortion and an air classic. It’s got some stray mounting holes near the bridge. Pretty chunky neck and lots of heft. It’s got the nibs as well and a nice discoloration as it’s aged as seen under the selector ring

$432 out the door

HN 20th JLP Day! :ROFLMAO:
Looks like maybe a Roland GK midi pickup at one point? Looks like it evolved from a GK1 to a GK3 over time with the different holes.

Killer! Looks like a Rosewood board. Do you know the other woods used? I don't know the years but the Norlin Gibsons had Maple in there for a while and they can sound killer, especially for heavy tones.

Mahogany neck and body. No maple cap

This thing was a sh!tshow electronically. It had 4 push pulls that were beyond useless.

This is a prime example of why some people shouldn’t have soldering irons. I put in 4 new CTS pot and rewired everything. Have it a fretboard treatment with my secret Japanese conditioner, lubed the nut and replaced the crack rings. The neck thickness is .90 - 1.00, really comfy. I like how this turned out.

Nice axe too bad about the snake-bite bigsby damage. Someone should be beaten for that.

Nice score!

And cheers from his older ('83) brother. ;-)

That one is rocking a pair of Duncans; Custom/59 Hybrid bridge and Pearly Gates neck. I also put on a Tusq nut, Grover 18:1 tuners and Graphtech bridge saddles.
