My gosh, I dumped my 2011 LP Trad which seemed to enjoy the daily torture of no matter what I did….to not stay in tune. The EC is so freaking rock solid.

I am 66 years old. I’ve owned a zillion guitars in my years. But I must say, this neck is razor perfect. Action is low, no buzz, the tone is definitely LP ish. Played clean, it’s just thick and musical, on the gain channels…it’s just freaking smooth and saturated. I’ve played some ultra expensive guitars and many budget ones…..this one stands out!

Korean-made LTD's in general are great. I have an F-205, an EX-401, and an EC-1000, all made by World. All are great guitars.

My main is an E-II Eclipse, but it's backup is an LTD EC-1000 and the quality difference is not as far apart as it probably should be for the $11200 or whatever price difference. LTDs are solid machines.
