They don't make them like they use to! :ROFLMAO:

Legator Opus OT7F
7 string on 25.5-27" scale w/stainless frets
Roasted maple neck w/ um... "roasted maple" richlite fingerboard.
Satin Black Swamp Ash body
Fishman Moderns with push/pull dual voice + coil split. (Clue me in if you know anyone who makes soapbar p90s in a 7, 8, or 9 string )
Brass bridge/saddles, locking tuners.
Color is a bit off in the photos, but close to the first couple pictures.
Photos aren't great to really show it, but this is the best alternate telecaster headstock I've seen.

Looks deadly

Enjoy and congrats. Happy to see you again.
Thanks, B3! Not very good at taking pictures, it def looks pretty hideous here. But it's a nice addition to my MS collection. I love the way that it plays and feels, but these pickups sound a bit different than the ones I have in my 9 string mahogany body guitar with the same pickups. The voices don't seem to make as big as a difference when switching even through a clean amp, so I thought this might be a good test bed for some P90s.

Maybe it just needs a tone battery? :ROFLMAO: Either way, sent BK a message asking if they make soapbar p90s since they seem to have them with the tabs in a 7 string, WML! The manufacture def has better pics, mine make the fretboard look way lighter than it is. Kind of reminds me of that Dali clock melting painting, just with a telecaster... May also look into what @rsm is doing with his NGD and dye the fingerboard black if it can be dyed?

HNGD!

StewMac has videos of their process. I plan to do several coats of black india ink, until it gets dark enough. next string change.

Hey, rsm! TY ❤️ Just found out that can't be stained because it apparently has a poly coat and the richlite is also sealed/specifically designed to resist stains, but can be painted. Might live with it. It's growing on me... I like the feel of it, but it looks like a vintage clipboard or drafting table or something along those lines. I have richlite on one or two of my Gibsons, but that feels like it has some very light amount of texture to it whereas this you could use it to write notes like on an old school desk.

makes sense if it's sealed or richlite. I have a form of richlite on my Steinbergers - they call it phenolic, but it's a similar composite. interesting that richlite can be painted, IIRC they add the color pigment into the composite mixture, so they can use any color. one example is the deathklok guitar with the white fretboard.

Happy belated NGD. The blackout body looks sweet.

that's badass.....
Thanks Gents ❤️! Got it at their 4th of July sale and had to complete the collection pattern 👇. (fyi, this isn't all of them, :ROFLMAO: ) Not many people are familiar with Legator, they def had some issues in the mid 2010s, but have stepped up their game substantially. World Music Korea makes them, so pretty good stuff. Very happy. They also sent me a spare headpiece for one of my headless guitars no questions asked +++! Happier with them than most of my Schecter, Jackson, and Kiesel multiscales. I think Agile still wins the category for best bang for the buck if you're into this sort of thing, though. Anyways, rant over.
