As they've come up for sale over time I've gotten each of the Hondo Deluxe multi-laminate guitars. These are the ones that are solid wood (not ply) from the 1980's made by Samick in Korea. The "collection" started over a decade ago when I bough the LP copy and as of yesterday with delivery of the 3 pickup strat is now complete. I haven't worried about keeping any of these guitars all original. So I'll eventually replace the bridge pickup with a Dimarzio Fast Track 2 I have in my spare pickups box.

Here's the rest of the guitars this one is joining.

I have a Hondo semi-hollow body guitar made by Samick. Samick's semi-hollows are known for being well-made guitars at a reasonable price. I believe that the first semi-hollows made by Samick were the Hondo ones from the 80s. I think the Hondo semi-hollows have a masculine, Gibson-like feel, while the later semi-hollows made by Samick have a light, feminine feel. They are also heavy.
