I've been on the hunt for Gretsch's again lately. I got to try a bunch of vintage and new models, almost settled on a Setzer, and then an '05 Country Club popped up at a shop near by. I've never seen one in person so I had to go check it out - that was a short lived trip.
I plugged it into a Dirty Shirley at the shop, which is going to hurt the wallet more soon. It literally sounded like they were made for each other.
