Here is my new Modern. It is very Guthrie-esque, but with a few differences (spec sheet is below). Words can't describe how happy this guitar has made me. I've had this amazing piece of guitar perfection in my possession for just over a week, and struggle to put it down to function. I am beyond pleased with what the Suhr team has created for me.

The first thing I noticed when I played the guitar was its resonance. The entire guitar feels unbelievably alive, and is very pleasing and impressive to play. Mr. Suhr how do you sleep at night knowing you have rendered so many guitars dispensable? :D

The Guthire controls are endlessly versatile. The blower switch is a must; it makes the channel selector on my Diezel optional. Not to mention the varation of the added sound, which is slightly brighter and more aggressive than the non-blower bridge selection. It is soo much fun.

Lastly, I need to thank Dan at Rocket Music. If you are looking for a store to buy your next Suhr from, do yourself a favor and give Dan a chance to work for you. He was beyond helpful and gave me an amazing deal.

Look at that headstock!

Yes I am happy!

It looks AMAZING! :inlove: I know EXACTLY how you feel! Felt the same way when I got my first Modern and still do as I continue to wait for my 3rd Modern to be finished. Awesome guitars! Can't say enough good things about them. +1 on Dan from www.rocketmusic.net .....dealt with him on every Suhr I've purchased. Pleasure to do business with. BTW - the figuring on your headstock is incredible! Congrats! :2thumbsup:

Thanks man!!

Oh is the wait rough, but luckily you got a few guitars to keep you busy!!

It was strange how easy the switch to this guitar was. I was mainly playing an S2, and it took all of 3 minutes to feel comfortable on the Modern.

Take care,
tyler
