This started life as a purple-stripe combo, which the previous owner had Mike B. at Mesa convert to ++ specs in 2019. He also had the R2 volume mod done at that time, as well as a complete overhaul involving numerous fixes and parts replacements. (I'll include that paperwork with the amp.) I bought the amp last year and converted it to a head using a Da Ribeira walnut/wicker head shell. It's currently running all 6L6s (Mesa inner, JJ outer), along with a blend of RFT NOS (V1), Chinese, and JJ preamp tubes. There is no reverb tank, but the shell is built to accommodate one if you're so inclined.
The amp is freshly back from Mesa, having been checked out and given a clean bill of health by Mike B., who also tightened up the (previously loose) power-tube sockets. I'll ship it in the same box Mesa used, complete with expanding foam packing material and the power tubes removed.
