Maybe. You mean the gov using our likeness to fake or control something else? I'm having a hard time coming up with some examples of that. As the user (voter) on the other end, I feel it would better ensure that it is me voting in real time vs a card.

It's awesome man, get drunk in the parking lot, eat hot dogs and shit food, then sit or stand for 3 hours and freeze your ass off, then wait 1 hour to actually exit the parking lot. Then drive home with heartburn and the shits. Oh, and wake up for work.

I'm trying to think of a figure someone would have to pay me to endure all that.

Proof of citizenship is good enough for me, shouldn’t be a stretch for anyone to have that information handy.
Yes I have a problem with face recognition software, it just shouldn’t be necessary. And no more Bears games unless I have some kind of windfall…or a game ticket may go to “6 months same as cash”.

Yeah, I think it will just give too much opportunity for controlling everything. Identification is fine, but using automated control systems that can be implemented ubiquitously is trouble.
 
They want to keep all the violent felons out of the stands who want to watch all the violent felons play hand egg.

Bad actors and dark web shit are more of threat to me.

Fair enough, but I'm convinced that the organized criminals who run the country are a greater threat than the one-off criminals who might try to charge your card or take a loan out in your name.
 
The only limitation of the latter group is convincing everyone that they aren't actually being robbed and enslaved. These days it appears they are well on their way.
