NOS Beijing Square Getter 12AX7 - SOLD
I have 10 of these tubes available from my personal stash. All are tested. They are harder to find now than ever. If you've got an '80s/'90s Mesa, Bogner, or Soldano, they'll love these.
A little background on these tubes:
These are generic 6N4 military tubes from China. 6N4 is the Chinese military's designation for the 12AX7/ECC83 tube. Many tube amps from the late 80s and early 90s were designed around these tubes (including Mesa Boogie, Marshall, Bogner, Soldano, VHT, Hughes & Kettner, Lee Jackson, and Mike Morin).
These were produced from the '70s to early '90s, and are a high gain tube that is very musical and warm sounding. They are nothing like the current production 12AX7 tubes that are made in China today. The 6N4 has a triple mica spacer on top of the plate structure and a square waffle-like getter which distinguish these sought-after tubes.
