For sale, I have NOS Chinese miltary 6N4J (12ax7) tubes. These were made in Beijing before the factory moved to Shuguang. These feature the square getter. Current Chinese production has a round getter. Some people call them 8th generation.
These are the tubes that came stock in Mesa, Peavey , Soldano, Marshall and others in the 80's and 90's. These tubes have punchy mids, deep lows and singing highs. They sound spectacular in high gain applications and are very balanced. You can turn the bass up in your amp and it will not sound flubby. Good for all positions, V1 included.
