NOS Tubes in Herbert

Hey guys
Anybody tried any real nice (better than stock sounding) NOS preamp or power amp tubes in their Herberts?
If so, what kind of sound characteristics did you get?

Hi , i have an Einstein 100W head and i put NOS tube in preamp , it sound great , and depends clearly what type of tubes you put , for instance : General Electric ,Telefunken , Tungsram , RCA , Sylvania , RFT ,RT (and not NOS but interesting too : JJ , Tung Sol)

I suppose the Herbert may not be so different than my Einstein , so test it! ;-)

I just put 4 TAD 6L6's in my Herbert yestareday and loved it!

THe external bias was a breeze - thanks Peter!
