I have some pretty decent higher end gear and some vintage Marshalls to start with.I wasn't overly impressed with the Renegade I had and sold it a few months ago.

Wellllllll --today I'm in Guitar Center (don't hold that against me) and these 2 dudes have one of these wound up pretty good through a 2x12 Eggie cab . I was ready to trade off a few of my pieces .It sounded good but when the guy grabbed an American made 3 single coil strat things got really good .I know alot of folks put together some interesting combinations of gear, but this thing on the gain channeled sounded like the speaker cones and tubes were going to go into meltdown .AWESOME !!

I may have to try one of these again .By the way ,I'm not a kid .

That is all.

I'm not a kid either.

I'm not sure I'm convinced that the Renegade is the amp for me, but after some tweaks it is damned close. What I know for sure is that it is about as good as you're going to get for $1000.

Not sure what was going on, I should have written down the settings.
