Wife and daughter are on a visit, so yesterday I have changed my pick guard from yellow to green one. It looks weird, but I kind of like it :D.
Ahh, I also changed the pickups as well. EMG57/66. They lay in the drawer for a long time. I wanted to test Charvel with some actives. Pleasantly surprised, they are pretty good.

I think the 57 is definitely the gem of the EMG line-up. Less compression, more string separation than the 81/85 offerings. Haven’t tried the 66 yet.

Fully agree. To be honest, I haven't been a big fan of active pickups until now. I didn't like their hen-clucking like voicing (maybe it's my way of playing in combination with strings, I'm a pretty crappy guitar player). But this pickup is really an exception. It is very clean, it separates the strings and doesn't cluck. On 18V supply it's even better (I have small 9V/18V switch on the guitar, so I can compare). It will stay in the guitar for now. I can't judge the EMG66, I don't play on the neck pickups at all. It is only there because it was in the set. But it seems to make what it is supposed to do :)
