NPD - Griffin Analog TOK

Hello all,

I received my Griffin Analog TOK pedal today. I just unboxed it and figured I'd share my initial thoughts and experiences before even powering on the device.

My thoughts are as follows:

Pop open the box. Well packed, as usual from GA.

Oh this is nice. He even has a TOK special logo on the box:

I wonder what number I have? He normally includes that. Yep, right here on the side. Sweet.

Open the lid and there is a little bag with some goodies. Was extremely excited to find a couple of magnets, among other things:

I was expecting the normal purple bag but to my surprise, it's a black one! Perfect for the theme of this pedal.

What an absolute work of art! True beauty!!

The weight in the hand is reassuring and everything feels to be if the highest quality - appears to be another stunner from the GA catalog.

Simply cannot wait to play with this after work today.

@griff10672 The extra goodies inside are highly appreciated! My wife immediately said - you need some stickers to put on your Peavey guitar. I have a guitar that was wrapped in stickers when I was younger, and then had a friend remove them (said he could with no marks), he literally flat head screwdrivered the damn top. Looks terrible. I am in the process of picking out special stickers and covering it again eventually.

If you have any stickers with the GA Griffin's Head, lemme know!

Or any GA stickers. I'll slap em on there for sure.

so you found the coupon ?

I had few left over from the Superdrive run .... so I randomly gave them out ..... same with the black and gold magnets ....
 
Test ran the pedal and then short summary is that the soft or hard clipping sides are super dynamic and useful. Not sure the order I want or presence settings just yet. I did turn down one side atw and then a bit in the other side, as I saw someone had tried it.

Love it so much already. Staying in the board for sure!!
 
I got some late night fiddling in. I set side A to soft clipping and Side B to hard clipping. Presence pots at about 30%. Need to play it at volume but this thing is amazing. Slammed the Honey Bee into it and what a huge sound. This pedal is an absolute win. Even the LED lights have this cool look to them.

It's a Alchemy symbol of some sort ..... I've had it kicking around in my " need to use this graphic someday " folder

once I get an image into Adobe ..... I can do just about anything I want to it .
