New piano day.

Backordered for months, finally shipped last Friday, arrived when I was on a business trip earlier this week. Got it set-up and played it today...sounds, looks and feels amazing. Was announced at NAMM 2024. Made in Japan.

Cool. I just use a midi keyboard and buy all the classic keyboards.

I have a few software keys, but still something about having the hardware is good too!

I didn't have a piano until now, I'm more into organs and synths and prefer waterfall and synth action; but wanted weighted keys for piano.

I just want to know which one of your pianos/organs/keyboards you sleep on at night? I can't imagine you have much floor space left just going by all the stuff I've seen you post.

it's a maze here; I have to put things up to take out other things. My living room looks like a music store / studio; so does the master bedroom. Once I sold my '62 Hammond A-102 and Leslie 142, I had more room.

I plan to make a keyboard pit in the center of the living room with this Grandstage X on the left, a Hammond SKx with 25-note pedals in the center, and a three-tier synth stand on the right with an Arturia AstroLab, Expressive E Osmose, and then swap out other synths.

I'm working on getting all the gear I want now before I retire early; knowing there will be new products I'll want in the future. The piano was the last missing piece for my hardware keys. A few more guitars to go and and come; and I still need to get that '76 Super Twin restored to working order...thanks to UPS. Fuck UPS.
