I bought a Torpedo Reload a few weeks back from Sweetwater. I really like the unit and use it with a Mesa Mark V and a Krankenstein+.
I've been getting some noise from the unit that I first may have been because the amps were set fairly high (on the mesa channel 3, master at 1 o'clock, output at 1 o'clock). Last night the noise was really bad, and I tried a number of things to eliminate it from swapping cabinets, cables, guitars. I made a quick recording and the noise also comes through the loadbox output. I still assumed it was the amp.
Today I got home at lunch time and removed the Torpedo Reload from the mix and I was able to really play at high volume and did not notice the noise anymore. Hooking back up the Reload, I hear it again. It randomly gets worse and better - sometimes it's barely noticeable. I've tried multiple outlets too - and that doesn't seem to help.
