That's it man! I'm ordering an Eintein tomorrow morning! I'll take the plunge! :rawk:

But I have three very important questions, and one of them only Peter can answer (since he's the builder of the amp)

1) I'm buying the european version (I'm in Barcelona) If I decide I wanna take the amp to America with me (I'll move back to America in a year and a half) is it easy to solder the 110v voltage so I can take the amp with me? (can any amp tech do it?)

2) I'll probably buy a cheap cab (since most of the money will be gone into buying the actual amp) I was thinking about a 1x12 (I've seen some Randall 1x12 going for Eur. 200 - 250 in the used market here in Spain). Will the amp function OK with a 1x12 or do I REALLY need to push it and get a 2x12 at least?? I'm just after a decent sound. I know a 4x12 will give me the most of out the amp, but like I said, I'm short on cash.

3) HOW DO YOU GIG with this amp? I'm a little worried on channel switching. I need at least two channels (a clean ch. and a slightly overdriven channel) I'm worried that the modes on channel 1 share the EQ, so when I switch between modes it will sound good in the mode I set the EQ, but will sound shitty in the other mode. How do you guys have this down for gigs?

That's it guys.

By the way, I'm torn between two stores

http://www.musicstore.de and http://www.musik-produktiv.es (which is here in Spain) Do you know any of them Peter? which one would you recommend?

thanks guys, after a LOOOOOONG wait, I'm about to enter the Diezel family! (FINALLY!)

I got my amp from musicstore.de. Swiftly shipped with UPS, great packaging, all-in-all great service.
Get at least 2x12". I am using mine with Framus 2x12" cab which came out for a reasonable amount (can't remember the exact though - all I remember that it was cheap).
However, I will probably get a 4x12" at some point to unleash the beast.

To make you more confused I purchased mine form musik produktiv. Great service, I got the amp in 3 weeks. After a month or so the reverb stopped working. I shipped the amp back to them and got it back 1 1/2 weeks later. They paid me back for the shipping cost wihtout any questions.

For the cab, I would suggest an orange 1*12

Good luck!

OK you win...
Still, I thought it was pretty quick compared to 8 months some people said they had to wait!

go to musicstore and to stephan, the bust customer support ive had in my life ;)

and dont worry if an einstein can sound good, it always does, switching the modes in channel 1 does sound great.

Thanks a lot for the replies guys.

I've ordered from Musicstore.de before (a John Mayer Sig Strat) and it actually took close to a month to get here. But it was well wrapped and everything went great. So I think I'll with musicstore.de again.

ALRIGHT! Just ordered it!!!

MAN...I'M DYING FOR THIS THING TO GET HERE!! :D :rawk: :worship:

Hey guys.....need some help deciding on what cab should I order.

I really want a 2x12 but I'm afraid it'll be too loud AND I just don't have the cash right now.

I need something "cheap" that sounds decent. (I can't spend more than 400 eur)

I guess a good 1x12 will do the job, but which one? help please.

I also need a cab that can do any type of music (not metal oriented) since I play everything from pop/blues/rock/hard rock/metal.

C'mon guys, help a bro out

QUESTION: I've never owned a cab (I've been a combo guy 'till now), are cabs internationally powered (can do 110v-220v? or the some goes with them as with amps?)

Yep :) I got exactly the same, now when I see it on the site. Or at least it looks the same :) Good cab for the money.

Call Octavio at HVC, Musicstore and Musik Produktiv are not alowed to sell in Spain

HVC? what's HVC Peter?

Is Musicstore not allowed to sell in spain? really? but I ordered it already :( Will I have a problem with warranty if I buy it from them?

what should I do?

Hi, I gig with mine in the clubs across the pond here and I just switch between channels. Clean for clean, BB preamp used on the clean for real classic rock tones...then I mainly use the lead channel for rhythm and lead using the guitars volume control. Then it's awesome to have the option to use the second master when things get really loud. I never had a better sound in my life. There have been several people including some soundguys that have complimented me on the amp. Soundguys that have toured the States with some big acts.

So in a nutshell...I LOVE THE EINSTEIN!
