Sorry to Hi-jack, but it looks like my old 2000 model with the older style midi board.

like I said, if you need to I can take more detailed pics, just tell me what should I take a pic of. Plus if you need a video, I can make a little video too, but it won't have much quality though because it I only have either my macbook (and iMovie) or a canon powershot point & shoot that can do video.

I'd clean the pots with a contact spray, Joey. Thats all I can think of at the moment.

contact spray? that's the air spray cans for used to clean dust from electronic parts?

I've asked Peter to have a look at your vid - please wait for his reply. If he agrees about the contact spray, I'd suggest Deoxit.

Joey,

it´s not a tube or socket problem, because
channel 4 use the same circuit.

It is a short or break between V1 output to
the gainpot ch3 or from the gainpot ch3 to the board.

I´m very sorry but it seems You have to send the
amp to Bad Steben.

Or do You have a local tech ?

I don't have a Local tech..... I could look for one but again I'm not sure If I trust a local tech to mess with my Vh4.

Peter, if I send you the amp, could you mode it to make it sound like the current VH4?

plus, how much would it cost me to fix the problem AND get it updated?

thank you for everything.

You can use them to poke around in your amp without killing yourself. Maybe you can find the short.

hmm thanks for the tip, but I'm a real noob when it comes to amp circuitry. Besides, I'd rather send it to Peter and get it "updated" so it sounds like the current Vh4 (which I've heard numerous times it sounds better than the old one). It'll cost me like 250 Euros(only the shipping), but again, it's gotta be fixed right? :aww:

btw, Peter, no answer yet? :)

Please send the amp to Bad Steben.

You should only pay for the shipment.

Thank you so much Peter.

who's Bad Steben? should I send the amp to the address that's on the official Diezel Website and just specify that is for Bad Steben?
