I found a couple of photos of the "rig" I used back in the early 80's. This photo was probably taken in 1982. We didn't have cameras that operated on 1's and 0's back then, so I had to scan the photos - and the quality shows. Thought it would be fun to share anyway...

Gibson Custom Shop Q3000
* 3 single coil pickups
* Mini-switches for each pickup
* Master volume and tone
* Kahler Trem
* Sold it to buy a Washburn EC-29 that I still have

Peavey Roadmaster
* Got brutally loud
* Weighed a ton
* Had 74 tubes in it
* Sold it - don't remember what I replaced it with

Late 70's Carvin (bottom) 4x12
* This is still my main gigging cabinet

That DT400 would look great next to my RR400....

:D :thumbsup:

Back in the day when a "Acoustic 150" did the trick into two no-name 2x12 cabs and my Ibanez Les Paul into an original MXR distortion pedal.

1992 until 2003 (not my pic... my first "rig" predates my switch to digital photography).

Some of my stuff. A VERY small amount of the amps I've had over the years. The Fawn Marshall is a '78MKII Superlead 100wt. Killer. The old Park was a 50 watter. GREAT tone!

I think the Super was an early 70's. Not sure. Sounded GREAT.

Loved that old Soldano Reverb O Sonic. Played MANY gigs with that thing. The Bandmaster was a '65 -'66. Road dog! The red Marshall cab had a Marshall JTM45 in it.

Dam, that fawn Superlead is sweeeeeet :rock: :rock:

I don't have any pic's but it was two, one a 1981 and the other an 83 jcm 800 stacks in stereo.

This is as far back as I go. I may have physical photo's of older stuff, mainly a Yamaha JX50 Combo. This was my main rig from around 1990 to 2005. I ran it through w Fender 2x12 bandmaster cabs. (I still have one of the cabs and the Bandmaster head)
