Here’s a recording of my Version 1.5 granophyre. This amp is wayyy nasty. I didn’t really vibe with the first versions of this or the obsidian. But man, I was having a lot of fun riffing on this thing the other day.

The gain structure is honestly pretty unique. I think it would work very well for a dying fetus style mix. Why the double tracked riff at the end I did that.

This amp may be a bit too high gain for some here for sure, but it’s pretty damn brutal.

Sounds quite a bit nastier than my v1.
The NFB and EQ moves honestly make it not even close. I have to move some stuff currently, but I jammed on this and was like ughhh maybe not this one lol.

the 1.5 I had was way worse than the 1.0 I played side by side, but it had 6ca7 tubes, and mike from omega said they stopped using those because they didnt sound good in granos. Which wouldve been great to know before I spent money on it, but at least I broke even on it

The v1.5 I had sounded really bad upon first plug in. It went back to Mike and he found a bad cap to V2, and a bad preamp tube in V4. He also swapped some polyester caps for polypropylene as he said they moved away from polyester. I liked the amp a lot once I got it back. I was not the original owner but the second owner rather of the amp so I thought that was really good customer service on Mike's part to first spend time trouble shooting with me, checking components over the phone and then taking it back and fixing it with a quick turn around on his end after exhausting our trouble shooting efforts over the phone.

Edit: I have to give props to bwgintegra as well, he walked me through a bunch of troubleshooting before directing me to Mike.
