Well, it's finally happened, I'm now officially on the waiting list for a MOD50. Very exciting stuff. I went with the Bman and the EG5. Eventually, I'll opt to add the SL2, but for now I think the Bman and the EG5 will suffice.

Here's to counting down the days...... :m9:

Killer combo with those modules. From clean to mean to scream. In fact thats whats in my MOD 50 right now! Either BMan / EG5 or BMan / SL2 are my default rigs. You will love it.

Kickass. Now all you have to do is grow your beard back and you'll be half as cool as the other guitar player in your band... :uzi:

Dude, you rock man! You'll love it. Wasn't that you up at the amp fest with Gino??

As far as the bassman...........I may have just slipped up and ordered one from Frank today. Just couldn't help it........just chatting and the "I want a bassman, send me one now" just kind of slipped out. And somehow the credit card just jumped out of the wallet.........

  Yeah, that was me at the amp fest with Gino. That was the first time I had the opportunity to play one of the MOD50s and I just fell in love. I can't wait to have one of my own.

You'll probably want to pick up the VX module as well.

I'll be waiting for the E2 to come out and then I'll have room for two more modules, probably the SL2 and the VX. We'll see how long it actually takes to get the MOD50 first and when other stuff is made available.

.......two months down.....so close.....so close...............

I just got my Mod 50. PIcked it up in the Classifieds here and didnt hesitate!! They dont last long!! I had a Randall Lynch Box previously but when I started down the Egnater path.....it was all over. :D Sold the Lynch box(Great amp though) and just loving the Mod 50!! Simply the best deal out there for the money and tone. Nothing compares.

What I dont get.....is why not many "well Knowns" play Egnaters?? Is it since they are endorsed they get free amps from other companies?? I have owned/played them ALL.....and Egnater is just so well rounded and sounds SOOOO GOOD.....why bother playing anything else?

Bob Seger's lead guitarist is touring with Mod series amps now. I'm not sure whether he is using the 50 or 100, but a friend of mine saw them at a gig in Michigan using them on stage. He told me that the tones were to die for. Although the Mod 50 sounds great at low volumes it is like any other tube amp in that the louder you play it the better it sounds.

I just played an outdoor gig at a street festival and cranked the amp. I use less gain and because I turned it up I had a great mix of preamp and power amp overdrive. My tone was clear and crisp with endless sustain. Needless to say it was a great gig. The Mod 50 is the best amp I have ever had.
