Here's the configuration I've decided on:

-SL2X

That'll cover a pretty wide range.

Hell, I'm gettin' jazzed.

Do you guys have any stories on the authorized dealers, or should I just pick the closest one to keep the shipping down?

I've gotten most of my stuff from Frank @ the Amp Lounge. He's done a good job for me...and seems to have the most in stock. But all are good. Indoor storm is a good dealer...I've worked w/ Rob @ Tone Merchants... All boutique shops that carry Eggie stuff are good dealers for sure.

Why not just order it now and throw it on the credit card? You'll get it faster and you'll have the money by the time the bill arrives.

I got my Eggie from Indoorstorm. It was a pleasant experience.

Btw, I suggest that you should reconsider getting EG3/4. It is so good.

the EG3/4 is more gain than I need, but thanks for the suggestion.

Edit: What I meant to say was that I only need one high-gain module, and the SL2X looks like the most appealing right now. But I may experiment as time goes on.

OK, it's a done deal. I just talked to Dave at Indoor Storm and he's willing to take all my money.

He's quoting a 4-week lead time. With my luck it will come when I'm off on a business trip during the first week of December.
