Open Heart Surgery on T/D and SL2x...

Was a complete success. Just got finished replacing the tone pots on the T/D, and the Mid pot on the SL2x.

A new thing for me to love about the Egnater Modular stuff. It's very serviceable. While I wouldn't say the job was easy, it's definitely doable in the hands of a skilled technician. A little patience, a lot of finesse, and at least a half a brain, and you're in pretty good shape (assuming you can solder, of course :D ).

Did you just change the values or was something wrong with them?
 
There was some shipping damage to them. The T/D's chassis had been bent just enough to snap the tone pots from their housing. The SL2x had a bad mid pot. All is back the way it should be.
