So last night I just auditioned every amp I have at stage volume for the show with Kiss on Friday. The CCV was the winner followed by the HG Jose. Those two amps will be making the trip to Cincinnati...can't wait to hear the CCV through that massive PA

cool glad one of my children (HG Jose) will make it to the stage.

hopefully the sound man won't fuck you, and even if they let you use your own sound man, they will still have gain and volume restrictions for him on the board, been there done that

I know someone who was in a band that was on SNL and the studio sound people would not let the band's sound people touch the board because the studio SNL sound guys were Union.

If you ever watch SNL or other shows on major networks and wonder why the sound mix is bad, its because the Union sound guys wont let the band have any say on the mix.
