Ordered me a DMoll - Uberkab work?

Will the Bogner Uberkab mate well with the DMoll? My other 4x12 is an EVH...anyone tried the Dmoll with something similar? Obviously 2 different flavors...probably sound good running at the same time.

Thanks to Brad King for getting me into the Diezel camp. The wait begins... :rock:

No experience with the Bogner but please keep us posted when you get the Dmoll..

^agreed. I had bogner uberkabs with the Herbert and VH4 and they sounded great. I would expect the Dmoll to be similar
 
Actually, when I played the D-moll it was into a Uberkab and it sounded great
 
I actually bought an Uberkab, coming from a Bogner 212 OS. Read the raving reviews, found one at a local store and pulled the trigger. I took this rig through a couple of rehearsals and gigs, then ended up taking out the G12T75 speakers and went with all V30 speakers.

I guess it's a matter of taste, but I did NOT like the sound from those G12T75 speakers. To my ears, they add a bit of low and a lot of high.. one would think that would complement the mids in the V30s.. but I hated it. It took away some of the punch and body... added some kind of fizzy sound that I did not like.

Now, my Bogner 412 (straight cab) is loaded with 4 V30 speakers. It sounds big, full and brutal.

Try before you buy.. :thumbsup:
 
Already have the Uberkab, I also have an EVH 4x12 that I can run to compare. Obviously when playing angry tunes, Uberkab may be the go to - but for a rock vibe the EVH might work
 
Not because its in the same camp, but I find the front loaded Diezel works well. Definitely a V30 amp though. Runs pretty good through a Mesa too. The Bogner should be OK with V30's. Not sure your EVH cab will be the best option if it has the stock speakers. The GB's will be very woofy as the D-Moll can make some bottom end. But, the true test is with your own ears.
 
I had been tossing around the idea of putting 2 creambacks in the EVH to up the output of the cab...but I may just try to snag a Mesa 2x12

Anything "xxxBack" beginning with Creme, Green, Lynch, Black, Scum, etc.....you aren't gonna like with this amp with volume. :lol: :LOL: :lol: :LOL: :lol: :LOL:
 
Then probably need to mate with the Uber or get something with V30's, thanks for the tip.
 
Love my dmoll with V30's or V30/T75's. Not so much with my cabs with GB type speakers.
 
Dude I think you're sitting pretty with that Uberkab, so no worries.
 
was also considering buying an all V30 loaded cab or an Orange High Power 400w 4x12 loaded with Celestion G12K-100's - any thoughts how a Diezel D-Moll would work with either. I know the V30 might be the definite go-to for rock/metal, but was curious if anyone tried and liked the G12K-100
