Original Diezel footswitch--Help Peter

I have one of the original Diezel footswitches and it doesn't work with my Herbert, eventhough it is marked Herbert on the back. The Herbert I have is from the 500 serial number series. Uwe was kind enough to try and walk me thru the "Omni" mode to try and program it, but it didn't work. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance Peter

The footswitch doesn´t work with the newer Herbert.
Uwe should know this.

I´m back from Japan on November 12th.
Then we will search for a solution.

I have a 2.0 MIDI chip in the head and the chip that is in the controller is a different number/version
I also have an extra 2.0 chip
If I were to put that 2.0 chip in the foot controller and have the same 2.0 chip in the head......Would it work??
