Go down to your local Best Buy and purchase the movie Inside (2008) or in French À l’intérieur. Obviously, a French horror film. Unless you have watched I won't say anything other than it easily entered my Top 5 Horror Movies Ever! Perfect combination of violence, intensity and atmosphere. In terms of gore, it does it in a way that doesn't sacrifice the intense atmosphere created by the cast and director. Awesome film!!!

That looks sweet! I'll look for it at my usual rental place. Cheers!

FYI

Don't rent the rated version at Blockbuster!! It is the rated version and it deletes 7 mins of footage that, IMO, is critical to capture the entire mood of the movie. It is worth the $ to buy it. You won't be disappointed!

I never rent stuff at blockbuster because of that. With that said, your avatar tells me all I need to know about your taste in movies so I am buying this tonight :D

Come back tomorrow and give us your review. I'll wait to give my thoughts until you've watched it.

Ok - I'll give this one a go - might not be able to watch it tonight though.

Looks pretty cool, just got one question.. Is there any english dubbing on it? or is it all just french with available subtitles..?

I believe there is both on the DVD. You have the option of watching it dubbed or with subtitles.

man this movie looks SICK and Twisted!!!

From what I understand it has some serious gore and over the top torture scenes.

Don't think of it in terms of torture like Hostel. It isn't like that at all. The violence is pretty out there but it never takes over the movie. For example, the first half of Evil Dead really sets a creepy, doomy kind of mood. When the gore is introduced about mid way it enhances the feeling. By the end of the movie it overtakes the creepy atmosphere and just becomes plain gory. Don't get me wrong, Evil Dead is one of my all time favorites. What I am saying is that Inside strikes the perfect balance for me.

Looks like good watchin', but it doesn't look too crazy. I mean definitely crazy as in "mainstream" horror crazy, but maybe not in the realm of truly bizarre movies

Watch it all the way through. Come back and let us know if your view changes.

There's very few horror movies I like and I've completely lost interest in the genre but since you've recommended it, I'll give it a shot :D
