Yeah it happened a while ago. I didn't really care too much considering they've been around so long and already have so many great albums.

Yeah, semi-old news. I'd be interested to hear what they do with the new guy. Opeth is basically Mikael Akerfeldt anyway. It'll be neat to hear what this new guy brings to the table.

I beg to differ....Peter wrote a lot of stuff with them. I don't know who the replacement is yet though....? I wish it was me!

A friend of mine, who is really into Opeth, said the replacement was one of the guys from Arch Enemy.
I'm kinda bumbed... first Martin and now Pete. WTF?

I was more worried about Martin Lopez leaving. He simply brought a lot of character and feel into their songs.

Yeah... he's going to be hard to replace. I caught them on their last tour with a different drummer.... not the same vibe at all.
