OT: Let's Go Pens!!!

That 2nd goal by Talbot was freaky. Jordan Stall was really hiting there for awhile. Fed looks great. Crosby and Malkin have barely gotten started. I'm very confident that the Pens will win this tonight. Can't give Detroit any rest.


By the way... anyone notice how Eddie Olchec (sp?) is super bitter towards the Penguins? Just because he could coach worth a shit doen't mean he needs to bag on Pittsburgh everytime he has a mic in his face. What a d!*%head

The 2nd goal where Cam Ward just misplayed makes me think the Pens are totally in his head. Fleury is making some incredible saves because the Hurricanes were really coming on strong the last few minutes of the second period. Jordan Staal was a man possessed on a few of those shifts.

The Pens are really playing well. Too bad they have no chance against Detroit. Oh well...it was a good run.

Congrats to the penguins. I live right here in the greater Raleigh n.c. area and all you see is the Hurricanes logo's, banners etc... I think they had a decent team, a good run but a reporter said the perfect thing the other nite. There is speed and there is the pittsburgh penguins. I noticed in the 2nd game and even the third that maybe a hurricane player beat a penguin player to the puck, but when he got there say in a split second faster than the penguin, he had a recovery that had to take place. That usually resulted in a blown play or a take away by the penguin player. The pens just seemed to have better execution and control packaged with their speed. Just my opinion. Now I hope they can take the cup.

I think is great that Carolina is supporting hockey. I think hockey needs more fans around the country. Hands down my favortie sport. Yes even more than football. I love watching the Steelers and the Nittany Lions play, but the Penguins are my favorite team to watch. Football is to speratic. Hockey is a more up tempo, fast flowing game. Constant action.

It's pretty lame that the finals don't start until next Friday regardless of when Detroit finishes off the Hawks. Too much rest for both teams. I hope the Pens fucking sweep them though, the Wings are the Yankees of hockey.

Thanks for the kind words. After playing Philly and Washington it was weird to play a team which I did not hate. The Canes are a class act and a fantastic team. If they had one more all-star caliber player to help Staal they would be right there with the Pens, but I think many teams could say that.
