OT: Man-Cave completed

Off topic, but I felt like posting some pics of my new man cave.

I think it may be decorated a little too nicely to be considered a cave, but I dig the style. It's my own little music sanctuary. My own "amp lounge".

Tried to furnish the whole thing for cheap. Got the leather couch from Ikea for $399, the Sharp Aquos LCD for $599, and the rest of the ikea furniture for less than $120 total. The lounge chairs are my wife's. Some cheap ikea lamps, etc, etc.

And of course, decorated with some vintage Yankee memorabilia, a Beatles poster, and 4 of my favorite axes, which will be in a constant state of rotation.

It's a great place to hang out, play guitar, watch the game, etc.

I have a couple of those same lamps. I really like the way that they light up a space. After I bought them a few years ago, I saw AIC live and they had the same lamps on stage during their acoustic set. I guess I made the right choice!

The room is already a mess.

It lasted like that for 5 minutes.

Then I proceeded to re-wire my speaker cab, take apart me tele, spread tools ALL over the floor, and take out all my guitar cases looking for a truss rod wrench. So it's a mess rightnow. hahaha

All you needed was a pair of cables to make it a mess......they get together and start doing their weird cable mating and then before you know you're tripping over everything.

Got two hobbies in mine if you look close enough- History (profession also, and you would be amazed at how often it goes with music; Just had my Eggie in the high school playing 50's music for kids!) and music.

Now put that beer fridge in a more prominant location! And the RM20 is conspicuous by it's absence as well.
