OT - New AIC album and Afwayus????

This was touched on in another thread, but I was hoping to get a definite answer on it.

We know that Jerry switched from Duncan JBs and 57 Classics to MCP Afwayus on most of his guitars for the current live tour. I was curious when the pup swaps were made? Specifically, were the Afwayus used during recording of the new album, or was he still using JBs and 57 Classics in the studio?

Rick, I think Wade said he used mostly the 2nd degree black belt. Wade's stuff is killer but I really think Jerry sounds killer no matter what man! Wouldn't get too worried.

Dude, I totally understand! I am a huge geek with this stuff too. I have just tried to teach myself to not get so caught up in the small things, ya know? But, I do know Wade said he had the BBs in the LPs.
