OT: sunburn

i got a bit of a sunburn and it itches like fuck. i've been taking advil and benadryl non stop, and have been putting on lotion and aloe to. i swear to god this the worst pain in the world. anyone have any other ideas of how to take away the itching?
 
You can use vitamin E cream to help, but the itch is a sign your skin is healing.
 
There are a few options - living in Australia it's a need to know.

Steroid cream is a great solution.
Alovera cream works too.
Anything with Euycalyptus in it


However (I don't know if you can get it in America)

CELESTONE - M OINTMENT.

It will KILL any sunburn over night. I've had burns that would have caused blisters stopped because of this stuff. It feels weird (doesn't rub in to skin - sits on top of it) and you wear it to bed, but my god it works a treat. In a country with Skin cancer rates through the roof this stuff is amazing!

That being said my Dad's a doctor so it's probably prescription.
 
yeah i know the itching means its healing, but i can't sleep or laydown or anything it itches so bad.


i'll see if i can get the celestone, but it looks like i'm gonna be able to.
 
well apparently it was a 1st degree burn, the Dr. gave me vicodin for it.
