So i put an Ibanez RG body up for sale there on their classifieds section, and i know they dont like people putting ebay auction links on there. So i made sure I didnt put any links to ebay or anything... even though the guitar is on ebay already.

I go back 10mins later and because i have it listed on ebay, they deleted my thread. I didnt put any links or anything about ebay in my thread, yet their reply was : "Stop your ebay auction and we'l re-open your thread". Yup sure im gonna do that... iv had 50views and have 4 watchers since 3-4 hours of starting the auction, im really gonna end it now.. :jerkit:

 Completely bullshit rules over there, makes me realise how cool this forum is!

Rant over :D

I might sell my old RFR RG550 loaded with Evo's over there.
Do you think that would be the best place to get the most dough for it? ...or should I use ebay and/or craigslist?

Tough call, there are Ibanez nuts with deep pockets over at Jemsite. One guy just unloaded over $8000 for a mint DNA

Just take great pics and post the guitar and give me and Jaakko the link so we can chime in stating that you are legit :)

Be prepared to answer lots of questions and get 47 requests for a neck pulled shot

+1 :D

Jemsite's good for selling rare and desired Ibanez'. I don't think you're gonna have too much problems selling a RFR RG550 there. Jemsiters love those axes...

Jemsite is a collection of Ibanez suckasses that think they can suck their way onto Vai's label.

Some serious fanbois there but their money is green too

Always go to the fanboi site to make the maximum dollar on nice pieces.

I don't really want to sell it but since it's living basically in a closet and not seeing any action since I picked up the pair of Silhouettes...I might as well.

I know I'll regret it though...

I can say I am at last regretting a sale, my SL-1 Jackson but I had to in order to buy a new computer so it is not bad.

But it still hurts Adam

If it makes you feel any better I used the RG565 this past Sunday for my jam session with the guys and did the Vai lift and dive move by holding the twang bar :D During the lift I remembered the thing was blocked

You can easily tap that block out...good as new. ;)
3 reasons why I block Floyds = I never pull up...stays in tune when I break a string at a gig...more bridge contact, resonates more with the body....actually 4...bending a string doesn't put the others out of tune. ;)

I'm gonna think about the sale for a bit...what good is loving a guitar when you aren't using it.
I thought I'd regret selling the '71 Marshall to Vlad more but I'm OK with it...it wasn't versatile enough for gigging (one channel, no loop) I wasn't using it so it was a good choice....we can't hold on to everything. ;)

Well after some impulse buys I am down to 6 guitars and everyone of them has something special for me and the way you speak about that 550 I think you should try to hold on to that one. I have owned several now for over 4 years and you just know them ;)

For a big jam or show you can pull out olde Red

Good point...thanks.

I joined a new band this year and the bass player told me when he first saw me play in another band (I was using the RFR 550) he thought I was cool because I had the balls to play a pinkish, eighties looking guitar on stage.

No problem...whenever you feel the urge to send it...beggers can't be very demanding. :D
