Wow, that's going to look and sound killer! I have very similar specs on my Drop Top and love it. I think the H3 pickup is awesome (have it on on two of my Andersons).

Very cool...congrats! Did you head south yet?

Thanks. Yes, I've been here since mid June. I don't miss the crappy weather up there, I'll tell you that much, and the Steelers sucking ass has made it a bit easier to be away from it as well. I do miss my Penguins though.

Do you have the short scale neck on your DropTop? I have a Jackson with a 24 3/4" scale and it is so easy to play. I'm hoping this one is the same way. I did have them put 10-46 strings on it because I tune to E Flat.

I have a very similar drop top but no burst and its an alder body.

I love these guitars.

That is the biggest difference between our guitars (mine is normal scale). I do have the shorter scale on my Bulldog and as you say it is a dream to play!

Did you move to Jacksonville, or somewhere else?

BTW, Congrats on the NGD.

I should have my new Suhr in the morning. I was lucky enough to get on a dealer's build list, although the last 4.5 months have been like living in slow motion
