Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you, guys !
I really don't know what's happening in my head for a few days. It seems like a virus destroying my reason…
First, it was just an stupid idea popping once. What about a new amp, just for some tonal difference ?
I'm a humble home player with no guitar lesson behind my back, no 10.000 hours of practice. I just love to play and listen to the few stuffs I've written.
Since 2007, I'm playing on a Herbert. Last year, I've bought a Hagen. I play Hagen for rhythm and Herbert for lead. I love Herbert ch.3 for lead guitar.
So, what about another amp for the rhythm to pan right ;-) I thought about something not too expensive like a 5150.
Or maybe a EVH.
But I looked toward Bogner Ubershall. I kind of like that kind of sound.
Like everybody, I've read endlessly subjective topics "X vs Y".
After that, I've watched youtube videos…with the same question: how do they achieve such sounds.
I'm playing via a torpedo live and then through Adam A77X monitors. Maybe should I listen through a cam recorder…
That's when my wife began worrying.
I watched more and more videos of amps. She's not stupid, that's a symptom !
And when the same vids were turning with no apparent end, my eyes gazing blank. She knew for sure that I was going to do stupid thing (I've been skydiver, she knows I can) !
Because I'm a bit too young for plain dementia.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VyNVkQ2hzgU was what pinned my mind….
A bogner, a peavey or a VH4. Clearly, I love the VH4 is this serie of vids even if I like the bogner. There's some kind of something...
Today, I've decided to order a VH4 !!!
