thats how I learned it back when the album came out but something told me it was not quite right.... so I looked up the tab book (back when those things existed) and found out about it.

Did a project-based one-off Ozzy Tribute once, where we played this song too; had to bring a 3rd guitar (Hamer Californian with a Floyd Rose) for the special SITD tuning (E=F# and A=B).

Haven’t seen any but here’s some versions of Zakk and Gus playing it. You can hear that they are not riding that palm muted A tuned up to B. They are palm muting the B at the second position of the A string instead and voicing the chords themselves slightly different.

Oh, seems like they play it very differently and of course differently from Jake. Maybe time to sit down and try to figure it out. I love that tune and don’t want to mess around with tunings everytime..
