well I actually think the Randall sounds very good. In other videos I've seen ofthem jamming where the camera was closer to kirk than to James, it has a very nice tight growl. There are two things that don't really "help" kirk in these two videos..... 1) the camera is way closer to James than to Kirk, hell James' cab is practically in front of the cam. and 2) the camera mic/youtube compression.

But the Randall definitelly cuts through......you can clearly hear the solo even when Kirk's cab is facing away from the cab.

I love the VH4 but I give credit where credit's due

i think it has nothing to do with the randall - the amps are blasting through wedges which are all over the space. you also noticed the guy behind the giant desk?
