I'm keeping my VH4...... is a great amp and after calculating all the shipping expenses and the low amp market right now, I think it's best to keep it and just buy another amp that I want (a Two-Rock)

I'm still open for a Schmidt trade though so if anyone wants, let me know...

:D

As long as you still have the Little Joe, its all fine, Joey :D

thanks guys....

the amp market sucks too much right now..... in order for me to not loose too much money (which I'm already going to loose) I need to sell the amp for no less than 3,300 - 3,200 and no one's interested...... plus I DO LOVE this amp, it's not like I don't like the amp.

I am interested in a Schmidt, I can't lie...... so once again, if you all know about a nice trade/deal I offer my VH4, only because I have a feeling that it'll fit my style a bit better.

Peter is there a way to make the VH4 LESS heavy? I already have the cap mode to make it less compressed.....what tubes can I use to make it sound more vintage...... or more like a Schmidt?

preamp/poweramp tubes ?

Olaf..... I LOVE my Little Joe!

it's got so much mojo it's scary....... a true vintage clean channel and a true modernish gain channel :D

What's the cap mode? I might like that. :)

Regarding tubes, lower output preamp tubes should help. I had a 12AT7 in V1 and V2. It really opened up channel 4 and made my cleans a little... well, cleaner. The 6550 poweramp tubes have a lot of headroom too, so they'll break up later than 6L6s or EL34s.
