parallel effects loop on the mod50

Howdy , i just got a mod50 and a tc electronics G system . Iam having issues getting it to sound properly .I thought I would try the parallel effects loop but not matter what I do I can't get any effects to come through . I crank the dial all the way up . I turn all the effects to 100% mix . If I listen very carefully I can faintly hear the delay in the background .

Anything I am doing wrong ? I have tried this with both the M13 and the g system . Is there a switch somewhere?

yes the effects work no problem in the serial loop ..just a little tone lost going through both effect units, so I thought I would try the parallel loop
