Parallel FX Loop Question...

My rack fx unit has a "kill dry" switch that let's me completely cut out the direct signal only leaving the effect. I'm wondering if I should use this feature when running the unit into the parallel fx loop of the Eintstein. Any reason I shouldn't? Would I be thinning out the sound somehow by doing that?
