How should I set the level in my pedals to get the best out of the Parallel loop, I cant seem to make it sound as good as the serial loop.

Its the first amp I have with a parallel loop so I am a noob at it...

I have a MXR Carbon Copy, EVH FLanger, MXR Stereo Chorus...

Thanks

Set the effect's mix to 100% wet in the parallel loop.
Dial in the right amount of effect level with your FX-mix-knob of the amp.

Dry signal of the Amp and dry signal through the loop from the effects might cause phasing issues thats why you need to set the effects 100% wet...

None of those pedals are really made for a parallel loop. IMO, they were meant to be used in front
of the amp. They will work well in the serial loop or possibly the channel inserts depending on the Diezel.

i agree.

I slightly disagree - I was running the EH Holier Grail as well as the T-Rex Replica and the TC- Vintage Delay in the Parallel-Loop the way Gutmann described it with perfect results. Maybe even my TC-Chorus, but for that I am not quite sure, can't remember exactly. You really have to try, which pedals work and which don't.

Delays and reverbs usually work if they have a full wet setting. Your carbon copy should be fine if you turn the "mix" knob all the way up. I don't think either the flanger or chorus have a "full wet" setting. Most of the time chorus and flange work best before the preamp or at least in a serial loop if it's gotta be behind the preamp. In the manual it states that the parallel loop is mainly to help solve the problem of A/D/A conversion which is usually processors.

Good luck!
