We turn it on and the tubes don't heat up/turn on, it's my guitarist's in my band, he's going to call Peavey soon but just woundered if any of you may know the problem, it's really bizzare

True - but it could have been as simple as a voltage spike popping a fuse and replacing that fuse "might" fix the problem. Of course if it does fix it and it blows again, it's time to start checking tubes. It's not been my experience that tubes just flat out fail all of the sudden, they usually start making funny noises or start sounding dull and less loud - and then they die. Even if the power tubes start red plating, it's usually just one of a pair that's crapping out and you'll hear it before it melts down and takes the amp with it.

One could argue that a bad tube is the cause of a fuse blowing and a fuse blowing is the cause of "no sound." Just sayin...
