With the recent thread discussing this amp I wanted to dig into it what it can do some more.

Before setting it back up I was reluctant to believe the Clean channel was actually based on a Marshall Plexi. As soon as I fired it up I had no doubt. There are some differences of course but they give it a character of it's own!

I tried to sell that amp a couple time before i understood it.

I thought the clean was really mediocre, quite bright and why was there even a gain control and why would you need to have a clean boost on the foot controller. what's the point of that? And the clean didn't really took distortion pedal well, they sounded exactly the same as when i put them in a low gain overdrive channel on any other amp.

Now it's quite clear it's based on a plexi with a different power transformer. There isn't any real "clean" on the amp. The plexi sounds great.
Your demo is great. It's exactly that.

if they would have just used numbers instead of the term they used it would be a legendary amp.

Guitarists didn't understood what it was at all.

ps : and rename the "punch" controller mods. highlight the 6 as stock.

Thanks.

Amp sounds pretty unique when boosted.

If I plugged straight in at a store I wouldn't have thought twice about it.

Picked this up as an opportunity buy as it was damaged in shipping. Thankfully it was only headshell damage.
