Pedalboard with rackmount in front ?

That is the discontinued SKB PS-100 pedalboard rack, they are very cool units. I have two of them, they are pretty handy. Perfect for AxeFX and controller setup. Literally just take the top off and plugin, ready for the gig.

Has anyone seen one that is like 1 or 2 rack spaces like this ? .... pretty fricken cool will make setup even easier...anything else out there?

i made my own from some bits of wood and some spare rack rails i had laying around.
sorry for the horrible picture quality, i had to use my cellphone.

wow thats cool!! I may do something like that... probably cost me like 20 bucks to do it... hmmmm
 
yeah, that's the reason i made mine. i had all the wood and the rack stuff so all i had to do was buy some velcro. i think it cost me like $15 total.

i guess if you're really into making stuff you could probably build a snap on lid too so you could take it to gigs and stuff. i just didn't feel like taking it that far :lol: :LOL:

a friend built one as well, apart from the SKB not sure there are any commercialised offerings , maybe some custom pedalboard places..but cheapest is to DIY

IIRC, these work for the standard/ultra, but aren't deep enough for the II.
 
Wow. This wouldn't be a concern for theatre gigs or larger, but if you were taking this rig to a club date, I would be paranoid as hell some dumb ass would spill one of these all over my rack gear and pedals:
