Peter-
Are there US made and German made Diezel 212 cabs? If so how do I tell the difference? I remember a thread regarding the 412's and number of screws on the jack plate (4 on US and 6 on German?).

Yes, there were both, and I assume the jack-plate method is applicable to both. My understanding is that there are so few German Diezel cabs in the US, the easiest way to tell is to make the seller provide the cab's providence. If they can't somehow show that the cab is a German cab (original owner bought it from a Diezel dealer within the past few years), I'd have serious doubts as to it being a German cab.

My US cab does have 4 screws on the input and my German made cab has 6.
Also, the US has a red plastic nut on one of the inputs and the German inputs are the same as the Diezel amps. Both of these are 4x12's.

There are some "fake" Diezel cabs floating about.

If that doesnt help just post some pics of the cab in question.

Who made the US made Diezel cabs? I was told MOJO.

I've read various things. I don't know. I've heard it was Mojo, V-Boutique, and Marvick Enclosures.

The modt US cabs have a red ring on the mono input jack.
