Hi Peter, I was just was playing my herbert today and I noticed the sound was thinning out and heard a background crackle and the amp just shut off and no lights and no power. Now the amp won't turn on anymore. I live in Vancouver, Canada, and the amp was purchased new on Sept 26 2009 in Seattle, the name of the store is American Music, I still have my receipt and sent an email a couple of weeks ago to Diezel Germany to secure my warranty and Peter Stapfer replied back to send my invoice to him, I wanna know who do I send my amp to, near where I live to get it fixed ?

Did you check the fuses, the one in the back pannel first, then the one inside the chassis ??

That's the very first thing I'll look before sending my amp over.

^^This... I just re-biased my VH4 and accidentally touched something inside that shouldn't-a ought-a been touched and POP!! there goes a fuse.

My only question is: the fuse is marked 250v, but at what amperage? I put in a 250v/3A fuse because the others looked like the wire inside was too thin compared to the stock fuse. Is there a spec on this?

Thanks,

Please search for a local service center and I will assist the tech.

I assume it´s a power tube fault.

Best,

Peter
