Peter, herbert has midi problem?

I am using the g system with the herbert, the midi is not always accurate.Sometimes the channels change and sometimes not, Somewhere I read you have a better midi chip for herbert, I bought my amp brand new about 4yrs ago. can you help me?

Sometimes the software on the older chips is very sensitiv
for groundloops or other influences caused by spikes.

I use a TC Nova System with my VH4. The Nova System wouldn't switch channels on the VH4. After doing some research, I found out that the Nova sends a MIDI reset command every time it sends a program change, and this was confusing the VH4. I bought a little MIDI box that can be programmed to filter out the system reset message, and then everything worked fine. The little box is an "Event Processor" made by MIDI Solutions.

I've heard that the G System has the same problem.
