Sorry, I have no way to PM you. I just ordered a Herbert, and I like the mod mentioned here (for the +/- switch). I was wondering if this is something Uwe could do for me before it leaves his distributorship and goes to my dealer. I would like him to drill a hole for the extra jack rather than disconnecting a speaker jack if he is able. I would only do this if it doesn't void the warranty-would it? Also, would the volume levels be drasticly different between the two settings?

You don´t will loose warranty. please tell that Uwe.
The differnce in volume depends on the gain setting.
On higher gain settings there is no problem.

Well, you made the hair offer after I bought the Herbert, otherwise I would have gone for that.

As far as the warranty, I was confused by your answer; I won't lose the warranty, or will I?
